Let us never forget the attack on our freedom ten years ago today. God Bless all of the men in uniform fighting for that freedom overseas today. God Bless America!

Oohrah...Hooah...Hooyah...God Bless all those who serve our country, past, present and future. God Bless them and their families. We have much to be grateful for, much to remember and much to give back.

Amen.

I am very proud to say that the company I work for, Helmark/Falcon Steel of Wilmington DE is helping to rebuild Ground Zero. We furnished and erected the structural steel for World Trade 7 the first building rebuilt on the site several years ago. We are currently fabricating and erecting steel for WTC Tower 2 and next year we will be erecting the structural steel for WTC Tower 3. We will be Back, God Bless America!

It is a truly fortunate man that can witness the progress of his labor.

So many of the things I do these days are behind the scenes. People do not notice how long computer systems run without issue but they are all aware when they fail.

Ride Safe

We did a 911 ride Sunday, just a small group of 20 friends, it was nice.

I was so dreading this day for how it effects me with all the suffering that it reminds us of. See it all happened on my 40th birthday. I opened presents as we watched the towers coming down 10 years ago. It's hard to be happy even on your birthday when the whole country is experiencing so much pain.

Well I turned 50 today. Wish the focus of today wasn't such a terrible memory for our nation and the world. My wife totally surprised me with an outstanding "diversion" party to make it a happy day and memory for me and all who were involved. She used the perfect distraction. She had the local VMC chapter plan a ride for today with the sole purpose of tricking me into thinking it was an end of summer ride.

She had been in contact with the club president Rob for most of the summer in anticipation of the day. They and other family and friends worked it all out. Needless to say they tricked me into riding by the house to pick up my wife and OMG the crowd that was gathered in our back yard. I never saw it coming. Live Bluegrass band and all, I was overwhelmed. Thanks to Rob, Mike and Louise for playing it up so well, and for all the club members being such a great bunch of friends.

And, God help us to do great things again as we have always done in the past. Such a great price has been paid to enjoy such freedom in our land!
