Was in napa for a oil filter and saw some paint that I thought was pretty dam close. So I bought it the primmer and the clear.

Sure I hit the one end when walking threw the door but its fixed now.

That's why you take a small panel (like the one in front of the seat) in to the paint store with you, 99.999% of them can run a computer spectragraph and the computer will spit out the exact mix code and the store will put that formula on the label or paint can lid in case you might need 45 gallons more-absolutely nothing is secret anymore, the Colonels 11 herbs and spices have been identified, several outfits have no doubt run the chemical mix of Coca Colas formula, Mikey D's secret sauce is not so secret anymore.

Your paint looks great and I like the monochromatic look in that dusty satin silver, looks like a big piece of sculpted silver! NICE JOB!!

Dupli-color called perfect match for GM p/n BGM0536 gunmetal met replaces T177 The clear is BCLO125 clear top coat replaces DS125/T125

All I did was sand the part with some 200 use dish soap in warm water. Dry use clean cotton T shirt.
Yes its rattle can. Drys really fast if you don't know how to paint go to Dupli-Colors web site they have a good instructions.
I found it at Napa most auto stores don't sell paint cause of the kids sniffing or defacing something.

I'm going to paint mine black tomorrow. How did you prep the surface for paint and did you use primer?
