I have run the 140/70-18 front with a ct rear now for about 8000 miles. This combo has done 2 long trips of 3000 miles each and then in town stuff as well. The only thing I did notice is that when I had the front tire at 36 to 38 psi, I started to get some strange wear on it. I have gone to 40 psi and all seems ok now. I run the recomended pressure in the rear shock and the rear tire at 38 psi.

And just for the record, I have the arrow backwards. This matches the tread direction of the stock E3.

Any problems with fender clearance with this tire? I too am in need of a new front tire and I am already running the Dunlop 175/60r16 and like it a lot.

Haven't had any clearance issues for 11,000 miles. I do get an occasional pebble size stone kicked up from running the tire backwards.

Other then that it has been a GREAT tire riding 2up in rain and twisties.

Agree with above, no issue with the tire size, fits well and no rubbing. Also agree with the rain riding, handles great, no issues at all.
