I have a 25 page PDF file that shows the entire concept in detail. It is very interesting, no telling when it will appear...........

XRSteve, a lot of "water-cooled" V twins actually only cool the heads. Helped chop a Kawi 2000 and KAwi confirmed the system was really just to cool the heads, and that a radiator half the size was enough. We placed it in the rear of the motor and hidden within the bottom of the frame fan and all. I think all V twins will eventually go this way. It only makes sense. No one could tell the chopper was water cooled and it sounded awesome.

MaddMax I agree with you on that, and if you remember my post about the difference in head temps on my RoadGlide and my Vision, the heads temps very vastly different but the crankcases were only 10F apart. The heads make AND shed 80% of the heat & the cylinders only about 20%. Water cooling the heads would greatly help Harleys or Victory's make more power: A head stabalized at 190F could run between 11 and 12:1 compression on 93 octane gasoline, and big twins make quite a bit more power with high compression.............

Remember when the harley guys use to run down the bikes that had radiators. Now there part or will be part of them. Buyer will maybe more pron to look at other bikes that will be faster and way better.
Guess you know sooner or later Vic will be doing the same.

I remember the first water cooled motorcycle engine I ever saw; A 1972 Suzuki GT-750 ( Water Buffalo ) everybody said " That'll never catch on"..........They did kinda look like a Mercury outboard laid on it's side.................
