I found a refurbished 2720 and its a really good buy. if i get that unit and then order the victory gps mount with audio interface, will the 2720 bolt right to the vision mount, the reason i was asking i was at the dealer the other day looking at there factory unit and it looked like it had some type of locking braket. Do all the 2720s come with that ? are is there another bracket i need to buy?

Northwest of you

You are "good to go" with the Victory mounting bracket and the 2720.

All you will need comes in the kit at about $90

I purchased a brand new garmin 2720 on ebay a couple weeks ago and just installed it the other day. The unit cost me $299 and best of all it came with the 2008 maps already loaded. All you need to buy is the Victory mount which should cost about $89.00. It comes with everything you need and has pretty good instructions also. You might want someone else to help you install it because having a second pair of hands is helpful when putting it all back together. Should take about 1 hour to install.
