New Bohemia, Va | I was riding to work this morning and had I checked the weather I might would have drove the jeepers, I guess I'm getting sissifed. Anyway, I did ride and in about 3 miles into the ride I realize I'm heading into a lightening storm, or so it appears. I just keep riding, watching one of the coolest lightening shows I've seen in a long time. Several sky to ground flashes at the same time, contrast against the dark skies and rain cloud. Fortunetely I just skirt the storm as I turn off onto my usual route and avoid the worse of it.

Perry Hall, MD | You did the right thing. I checked the weather and took the cage. Road was damp on the way in from an overnight rain but the storm waited till I was inside and then I missed the chance to ride home in some nice weather. News just showed some footage of the storm - pretty neat! |
