I have been looking at the graphics at this place

http://www.autotrimdesign.com/Shopping%20Pages/Installation%20Information/Custom%20Graphics/ATD-VCTRYGRPH002/ATD-VCTRYGRPH002.htm

What color do you think would look best on my Vision ? I am looking for subtle. I ride with and without the trunk.

When I bought SYNSTR it came painted black from the factory, the dealer used it as a demo bike and they gloss blacked out everything except the pax grab rails which remain pewter. So yours would look great in overall Cherry with maybe a dust coat of pearl in a contrasting color so it 'changes' subtely as you ride past or as people walk around it, talk with a custom painter. Then go get a custom fit seat with jellpad.

Your in the right place for this. I would go find some pint strippers. I'm sure you have more then enough in the phone book.
Decide how much you want to spend and they can tell you what would look good cause they know colors.
Tell them what you want and how much you can spend.
Don't ask them for a price!

I agree 100% with John...... set a budget and let your painter know what it is in advance. Be realistic with your demands. You wont get custom work done right with a small budget. Try to find something you like in advance to show your painter that way you guys are on the same page. Helps out alot when a customer has an idea of what he wants , and what he wants to spend.

good luck

There's been a fair amount of discussion on Vision graphics over on the VMC. http://forums.thevmc.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=100973&posts...

Witchdoctor's Specialties is asking for ideas, and requests for production pieces.

Ive looked at the website before and was going to go with a goldish color, but with as much as I use the pure polaris detailer, I didnt think the decal graphics would last long. I priced out having it painted on and decided I would rather take a weeks road trip, with motels than pay for the paint......

I know I can get it painted on but I wanted to do the stickers so that if I change my mind down the road I can take them off with no ill effects.

Wow - lots of colors to chose from. Some folks have been using a lot of the carbon fiber, but I am not sure that would look great as a detail. Total cost on this was more than i had guessed but cheaper than paint job.

You want an eye popping contrasting color, in '69 Ford has an eyewatering POPPY RED color for the MUSTANG, or an Orange base (no tints, just 'holy moley! Orange) for big contrast and to draw the eye to the lines of the bike with some compound '50's style stuff on the fenders.
Again, streetglow makes very thin reflective pinstriping tapes in about 30 colors.
