| NEWFIE DOES THE GARMIN ZUMO PLAY THRU THE SPEAKERS
NOW THAT YOU INSTALLED THE THE BALL BRACKET OR DO WE NEED A SPECIAL WIRING HARNESS TO PLUG IN TO THE VICTORY SET UP. I HAVE THE ZUMO ALSO AND WAS WONDERING HOW YOU OR IF YOU HEAR THE DIRECTIONS, IPOD OR XM RADIO. THANKS TOM D |

Friendswood, TX | It will play fine thru the speakers using the mini rca plug. I went a bought a 1 foot extension to make it reach with no problems.... GPS, XM and the MP3 player built in. |

| NEWFIE, WHERE ON THE BIKE DOES THE RCA PLUG INTO. I HAVE NO BIKE AS OF YET TRYING TO GET EVERYTHING READY FOR THE SET UP. I KNOW WHERE IT PLUGS IN FOR THE ZUMO TO THE CAR RADIO, BUT NOT THE BIKE, AGAIN THANK YOU TOM |

Edmonton, AB | Yes the Zumo 550 plays through the speakers. As FlyinAce described, I bought an extension for the mini-RCA plug that connects the headphone output on the Zumo to the standard stereo input connection in the "glovebox" on the Vision.
I was using an IPod when I first picked up the bike, but when I installed the GPS I purchased a 4GB SD card, loaded it with tunes and used WinAmp soft ware (Free download online) to set up several play lists for my favorite tunes. It works very similar to the Ipod, Import your songs, make any changes to the playlists, connect the Zumo and the Sync the Zumo Mem card.
The song titles are displayed on the Zumo instead of on the Vision dash display and the skip forward/backwards buttons are on the Zumo touch screen as well. You can still control the volume/mute from the handlebar controls.
If you are riding along with the Zumo tunes playing and there is a voice direction from the Zumo, it will automatically pause the music, give the direction over the bikes speakers and then the music starts playing again. All in all it is a very slick set-up. |

Edmonton, AB | Now the hardest part of the wait begins...but it will be worth it. I have only had mine for a week now and we have already put over 400 miles on it. 90% of those miles have been riding with my wife on the back seat in temps between between only 2-5 degrees above freezing. I love those heated seats and handgrips.  |
