Heard Stage One yesterday. Did not think there was much difference than stock. Stage 1-level 2 still backordered till 4/18. Has anyone heard Arlen Ness Mufflers for Vision????

When I demo'd the Vision, we first rode one with 100% stock pipes, got back to the dealer, and within 5 minutes, was on a different Vision with the Stage1/Level1. To me, a VERY noticeable difference....enough that when I worked the deal for mine, I added the Stage1/Level1. NOT Harley straight pipe loud by any means, but a nice throaty sound under acceleration, mellowing to only a slightly increased exhaust note compared to stock at steady state.

Hope this helps.

I agree with space cwboy. I have stage 1 level 1's. I rode the bike stock then added the pipes. While running low rpm's they sound close, but once you twist the wick they open up to a nice rumble.

I have the S1/L1 pipes.  Last weekend my local dealer hosted group test rides for every model of Victory and invited me to help out and I rode "tailgunner" with several of the groups.  We would be sitting around as about 10 guys would mount up on the different models and I would wait for everyone to start their bikes.  There was one model with Stage 1 pipes, (can't remember if it was a Vegas or Hammer) everything else was stock.  After everyone got started and was warming up I would light off my bike and give it a tiny blip.  Without fail, every head would look up to see what just started, even the guy riding the other S1 kit.

The 106 is much deeper and throatier than any other Freedom motor. The S1/L1 is the perfect balance of quiet when it needs to be and deep bark when you want it.  I have a 20 mile commute to work and often pass co-workers on the way to and from work.  I've had at least a dozen people come up to me at work and say "Hey Tom, saw you go by me today.  Your bike sounds really nice."  About half of those people owned bikes, the other half don't.

Don't even get me going about how it looks as it goes by.
