I pulled a trailer to the AVR this week and had cams put in early Thursday morning. On the way I was second guessing myself on doing the cams. This was the first trip pulling a loaded trailer and the bike did very well. I have the intake plate, air filter, controller and the RPW 2 into 1 pipe. I live in NW Ohio and we hammered to get there and dropped my bike off to have Rylan put the cams in.
The next morning we went back to get my bike and I test rode it without the trailer. It felt much stronger but I was used to pulling the trailer so I didn't get an acurate feel of the power. I went back to the hotel and picked up the loaded trailer and we headed out. Now the power increase was very noticable!
Lloyde dyno'ed my bike because they didn't have acurate contoller settings for this combo. My #s were max power 103.13 and max torque 109.80. Rylan had explained to me that my #s were lower than others I made max torque at 3500. Torque crossed the 100 mark at 2700, peaked at 3500 and dropped to 100 at 4500. To me this is a very useable range for pulling or normal riding. The pipe was the reason the torque fell off early.
Thanks to the team of Rylan and Lloyde as I'm very happy with the results. I finished our trip by heading up into the UP and coming down the coast of the lake and home. Total trip was 2300 miles. :laugh

Hey Jeff!  I talked to your dad for quite awhile but never did really get to chat with you.

Jeff was riding with three other guys; his dad, brother and I'm not sure who the fourth guy was (friend or another brother?).  Jeff had the Ness Vision, dad was on an old borrowed Voyager, brother was on a Can-Am Spyder and fourth guy was on an invisible Harley (no clue what model).  Those guys made for quite the mix, all super nice.  Dad was great to talk to.

Hi Songfan, You must be Bob. Dad said he was talking to a nice guy named Bob. Sorry we didn't get to meet. This was a great ride for us. You were almost right on who all was there. The guy on the Can-am was my son, Dad rode my uncles bike because his was down and the guy on the HD was my brother. My other brother couldn't make it but it was still a very good family trip. Dad has been to all 50 states on a bike. This trip was great for him. All went well and the weather was great the whole trip.

Hey Jeff,

I'm Tom but Bob is fine too.  Thanks for the clarification on the players.  You were out running around while we did most of our talking and your dad was obviously proud to be bombing around with his boys.  (You definitely don't look old enough to have a kid on a Spyder already.  He's a nice kid.)

Your Ness is the first Vision I had seen with a 2 into 1 exhaust.  Your dad filled me in on the "issue" that popped up with that set-up.  For you guys that haven't seen it, the RPW exhausts everything from the right side pipe.  There is a dummy pipe on the left side so it looks balanced.  (The front of the dummy pipe turns under the bike but stops prior to where the crossover would be.)  If you walked past it you would never know it was a single exhaust.  The issue is soot on the ends of the exhaust.  It didn't take long to realize that the right side sooted up while the left side stayed virgin pristine.  Jeff had to paint the inside part of the left tip in black paint to match the right side.  Matches perfectly but just something else to make you go "huh".

Wish I could have gotten a group picture of you guys.  Easily the most interesting mix of rides at the AVR.
