Rode out of the desert mountain through a canyon and on to Fallon for a great breakfast and to talk with a real indian that does carvings and works on motorcycle. Nothing's wrong with the Vision, I just saw "Motorcycle Shop" and it had some stuff hanging out so I stopped in. Bought a carving to hang on my bike and a T-Shirt. Then headed out across the best ride along the loneliest road in American and turned over the odometer to 75,000 on Drumm Summit. Cool Beans! Talked to some Aussie's that thought I had the highest mileage Vision in the world as they are familiar with them, though they were touring the country on BMWers.

I make it to Salina, UT where I've got just over 2,000 miles to do in two days, and I want to get an early start tomorrow. So I stop at the hotel and get the last room, get this, a smoking room, and I don't smoke! The hotel is booked as well as the other hotels because of the lady barrel races. So there's all these young rodeo girls running around chatting, in the pool and Lord knows what else. How will I ever get any sleep?

Only YOU could find a hotel where you won't get any sleep.

I left at daybreak, around 6:30am UT time, and I've arrived at KC, Missiouri in just over 16hrs, a total of about 1,055 miles. I've got about 1,090 left to hit in the morning, I split that up about right. And Starship, yes, back in the day, and I'm proned to nap where I am, however, I'm older and wiser and have a choice.
