Been wanting to do this for sometime.

3 Victory riders, Woody (2000 CC), Tazdevil (Hammer) & myself completed our Ironbutt this past Saturday

1022 miles in just under 18 hours.

The weather was nice, only a few sprinkles for 10 minutes.

We started in Sturbridge, Mass- went 511 miles out to West Springfiled, PA then turned around.

Route consideration and gas stops make planning this more relaxing-

I must say, it is a long day and can be taxing on most folks. I give the utmost credit and respect to Rob who did it on a Hammer with no windshield ! We were moving at a good pace for the ride.

The biggest issues we had ( other than woody and his unbuckled saddlebags...

:har :har ) were the amount of deer and roadkill on the roads.

I must confess, I feel as though I took advantage of the ride by doing it on the Vision- it made for a very comfortable trip that I could do most days.

No sore butt issues, mostly sore forearms and wrists from being on the abrs for so long. Even with the cruise control- I did not use very much.

I will be more than happy to answer any questions, but it was a great experience !!

great going. Did you document the ride? Either way 1,000 in a day is a great ride.

Great job! It is my goal to do one in the next year too. We have the perfect bike for it.

Congratulations to the team... I have thought about doing it a few times... But not on my Hammer.

Did the Iron Butt 1000 mile ride a few years ago on my Road King. Now I am considering the 1500 mile ride on the Vision (undoubtedly a much more comfortable ride!). Stay tuned.......

Just rode for an 8 hour stretch yesterday and my mind started daydreaming about what it would feel like to be on my butt for another 10-11 hours....ouch!

Congrats!!!!!!
