, IA | buy 2 for 168.00 for one bike y can i not buy the system for a car that comes with four and use them on my two bikes 150.00 for 4 seems it would be cheaper and would cover my bike and the wifes like turn it on in A.M. check pressure and there u go |

Wichita, Kansas | I've been running the TireGard for about 6 months and it works great. BUT, the tire sensors appear to have a centrifugal switch which requires the tire to be rotating before it will read. That usually takes a block or two. Otherwise, when you turn it on it reads the last pressure sent before you stop. I don't know what the transmitter range is, but if you ride close together occaisionally it might pick up the second bike and give a little bit of notice for a slow leak. Fast leaks would not be caught unles you were riding very close all the time. The 4 place unit is more expensive also. IMHO, I think getting one for each bike would be best.
(I also asked the company about putting one on the air shock - that's when they told me the tire has to rotate to get a reading. Oh well. It was a good idea.) |

Yellowknife, NT Canada | Thanks for the info I wondered about the air shock. I have a Bushtec trailer and bought the TireGard for bike and trailer. I thought it would be nice to get a 2 wheel TireGard to cover the air shock on the bike and the air shocks on the trailer. I will not now.. Thanks.. |
