I am currently using the original sirius sportster sp-r2 receiver on my 08.It is plugged into the power supply in the glove box.The only problem is that I cannot change channels without opening the glove door or view what's playing on the radio face. I believe it is on it's last leg, so I'm looking to get a new one.Any suggestions on what new sirius models works good on the Vision.
Mine has a power suppply of 12v. I believe all of the new sirius radios for auto/motorcycle are 5.5v,meaning you would need an adapter.

I'm using the Starmate 5, have been for a year now. Works good in all areas. I keep it in the glove box. It's plugged in to the outlet. Buy the kit on E-bay, you get all the stuff you need.

Where did you locate the antenna? is it under the fairing or visable?

my antenna is mounted on the left handle bars fluid res... i wish i was able to post photos on here. NEVER could figure it out... too much like work.. lol

btw the REASON why i choose a starmate 5 was..... i only pay $6.99 using the SM5 because with the SM5 you can hand pick up to 60 stations at a Lesser price.. i did this because i am already paying for two other SAT radio subscriptions, so i didnt want the 3rd to be full price as well.. i have sirius and Xm both. i only picked the 60 station ala cart package because i only listen to 3-5 stations in the first place! =)

Will check on ebay for the starmate 5. I too have my antenna on the left handlebar reservoir.
