This may help you. http://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/FilterXRef.html The alternatives are listed under Victory. Even though they don't list the Vision, it is the same fitment.

I have used both the Bosch 3323 and the Purolater PL14610 over the 38,000 miles on my Victorys with fine results. When Lloyd tore down the engine to make it 100ci (was 92ci), everything looked fine - no excessive wear. I can't speak for the Bosch but I know the Purolater filters down to 10 microns as spec'd for Victory's freedom engine. Esthetically, the Bosch looks better on the bike(its black) rather than the Purolater (bright blue). Both filters are available from AutoZone for around $6.

The Mobil 1 M1-110 and the WIX # 51356. I found the Mobil 1, also black, at autozone for 9 or 10 bucks. Supposedly a high performance yada, yada, yada, etc.

I use the AMSOIL EaO13 oil filter on my Victory Vision. It is a perfect match for the Polaris 2540086 oil filter that came on the motorcycle. In fact, it is apparent that both oil filters are made by the same manufacturer!

Northwest of you

I am assuming the filter is the same as for a "Freedom" engines (at least that is my hope, since I've already got 5 or 6) and if so, I use the filter from Walmart, which is about $3.00 and I think it's #st7317.

I use it in conjuction with Shell Rotella T synthetic, which will make your total oil change well under $50.

I am not intending to highjack this thread and turn it into an oil thread, which is forbidden on the VMC, but, maybe could happen here?

I know this thread is from Feb, but I was wondering if anyone here has used any of these other similar type filters for the Vision yet? My dealer is over 1hr away, so going to be changing the oil myself. I was going to buy a few filters so I wouldnt have to make the trip as often, but I've used the PureOne filters on my auto for awhile and happy with the results. Before I buy, wanted to see if the PureOne PL14610 or the PL14612 definitely fit the Vision. I appreciate the help.

I have been using the K&P Filter since my 500 mile oil change. It is pricey but it is a one time purchase. I feel it helps cool the motor and does a much better job of filtering the oil.
Every time I change the oil,I also remove a small amount of metal filings that adhere to built in magnet. Better here than between moving parts. Conquest customs offers a discount on VMC and I am sure if you contact him he will do the same here.

I have been using this filter and full synthetic since 2500 miles(Mobil 1 or Amsoil 20W-50)

I use AMSOIL filters and oil in all of my vehicles and used them in my 2005 victory. Fortunately all of the Victorys take the same filter and oil because I have several filters and oil still from my 05 to use on my new Vision.

Without looking it up, I'm not sure which Purolator filter is which, but both should "fit". However, I would recommend getting the shorter of the two so as to not run into clearance issues with the exhaust.
