I have had cars ride up on me in snow storms. It's not fun when you're trying to keep the bike up and some nut is in a hurry! The Vision is amazing in the snow. Idiot! Mabe! The world would be boring without idiots lol

Fred, that's me in the video as probably already know. Amazingly my only fear was that someone would slide into me. When no one was around me in the 9 mile trek through NC during a snow storm the Vision was rock solid.

Not that I'm looking for another storm, it was cool to have the challenge. I've not rode much in the past 3 weeks or so primarly because of the ice patches, but more so the ice + cagers. Plus we have a surplus of sand on the roads as well as the chemicals have not fully been washed off. That junk is more dangerous than riding in the snow.

I live on the Gulf coast. The dry sand on the roads is like ice.

I agree. The sand is what gets me from time to time. I really slow down on blind corners. Buy I find if I'm doing the posted speed I'm ok. Now when the sun is out and the roads are clear all bets are off! I like to hit the corners like everyone else but this time of year it's just too dangerous. I am shore you know this but I get a lot of looks riding when the tempter is in the single digits or when the roads have ice and slush all over them.
