Richmond, Texas | Hy guys, Stupid Question here...
my windshield motor stopped working. I hope its a fuse, but I dont even know where the fuses are. Can anyone tell me where to look? Thanks.

You are going to hate me but the fuses are under the front blade. Take it off and disconnect the Antenna wire. Than remove the covers that are part of the dash. Under there are the fuse and relay blocks.
The problem is that are a pain to access if the windshield is down and the fuse is blown.
I once had to remove a bolt in the windshield mechanism to make access to the fuses. To put the bolt back in was a three handed job.

Republic of Tejas | Byrdman, if your trunk auxilliary power connector is not working you're right on with the fuse diagnosis (both on same circuit). When mine blew in the down position I was able to use and old automotive drum brake shoe adjustment tool to reach behind the fuse block box and trip the rear latch.
Also, just above the box you'll see a plastic dart (rivet). If you remove it a small plastic tab (about 2" x 3" above the box can be taken out to help with your access.

San Antonio, TX | I wonder....if the fuse is blown and the winshield down.....can you put 12 volts from a battery, battery tender or other power source as an input to the rear power jack and use that to raise the windshield?

Republic of Tejas | Sounds reasonable RT. I need to start another thread as to the cause? Mine has blown the fuse each time there has been a cellphone, or MP3 charging and they were unplugged. |
