I just put a new short wind shield on my vision. The red yellow black caution sticker appears to be welded on. How can I get it off. Thanks. Bob

Try warming/softening the adhesive with a hair dryer (NOT A HEAT GUN!).
After you get the decal removed, the adhesive residue can be removed with a generous dab or two of creamy peanut butter.
Just let it sit for a bit to break down the adhesive and then wipe it away, It may take a couple of applications but it works and it wont hurt the plastic.

safety idiots - what does the sticker say? -

anyway, i'm sure a few minutes with a hair dryer to warm it up and remove it and some pledge afterwards will clean it right up.

does the sticker say something like "this is a short windshield and it will not protect you against the wind" ?

TREE HUGGER ALERT!!!!!!

Peanut Butter - no runs - no drips - no petroleum distillates (to eat your plastic) - no chlorofluorocarbons.

But I am sure that Chris is correct; the lemon oil, banana or what ever oil is in Pledge accomplishes the same task as the peanut oil.

tarpit, i was typing when you posted, a second later mine shows and seen yours, I would go with the PB myself, as most people don't have pledge, but that woked from me on the WARNING sticker on the V panel.

But I've got to know, what does the sticker say on the windshield ----

+1 on ALL the above responses.....especially on the (NO HEAT GUN) issue. Trust me.....I Know!! Used it on my last Vic and ruined it. Used the hair dryer on my Vision and worked perfectly!! Took a LOT more time but trust me it IS worth the wait...
