This has got to be the strangest idea for a trailing a bike I have ever seen.

Of course, it would not work at all for a Vision because the the handle bars are rubber mounted and the owners manual said that you should never use the bars for tie downs.

Never tie down a Vision by the bars!!!!

Too bad it is not "Vision Ready" since for a short pull to the shop it would be nice. I would not go across country like this because of tire wear and untold stuff to the gear box but for a short haul who knows?

But, I wonder if you could use the front tie down to compress the forks? Then use the tie downs on the bars just to keep the front straight?

That coffin shipping box could come in handy on a long cross country trip to put the parts in that fall out of the gear box into so you can them take back home and have em put back in!

Here is the web site and video links.

I wonder if our SmartCar could pull the Vision? It would sure make an interesting picture. The Vision is 5" longer than the car.

It looks like a good idea but would never use it personally, not even a short haul to the care center. If you could remove the belt that might be okay, for a short tour, and would only think that a broken belt would be an acceptable haul. I would never pull the Vision with a wheel on the ground unless it was around the yard. JMHO.

Doesn't the Vision also weigh more than your Smart car?

Neat design on an old carrier. Personally I would never drag my bike behind my cage. Figure if the cage will get me there so will the bike.

Vision weighs 900lbs, SmartCar 1800lbs. Stock Vision 96hp, SmartCar 79hp. 0-60 on Vision timed by a stopwatch-SmartCar, a calendar.
