Does anyone have EBC part numbers for the front and rear pads?

is it true that the stock victory brake pads are better than aftermarket in terms of noise?

I wouldn't know at the moment, I replaced mine with victory pads about 8,000 miles ago and i've got a squeak I can't seem to get rid of. It's not bad, but just annoying.

I did not have a noise issue with the stock pads for 30,000 miles. I have not had a noise issue with the EBC pads over the last 7000 miles.

I have always had great luck with the Lyndall brake pads. Planning on using them on my Vision now. The best part will be avoiding all the brake dust that accumulates on my chrome rims!

I would check with Lyndall about those part numbers. Their web site may have out of date information as they list the 7174 and 7230 pads for all Vics, 1998 to present. Up to the Visions Victory used Brembo brakes. Starting with the Visions they went to Nissin brakes and the pads for these may be different. I'm not absolutely sure the pads are different, but before ordering I would make sure.

Like I said earlier, I have always had great success with the Lyndall Brake pads. I do recommend the Gold's!

I'm running the EBC pads and much prefer them over stock. No noise with either but better brake control with the EBC's in my opinion.

Aren't the Lyndall's the ones with the rotor and pad combo that cost several thousand dollars? I may be remembering something else- seems they were carbon or some exotic compound. If that's true, I'll need a few sponsors to go with those! lol

The Lyndall's are about $50 or $60 bucks a set. That is just the pads and the "Gold" pads as well. You can get the less expensive ones as well. I do believe all of the pads are "dust free" pads. I believe they are made with a ceramic compound, but don't quote me on that?
