Centennial, CO | Anyone running RD's? If so, any recommendations and what kind of price should I expect? How is it mounted and where?
Any issues with having them mounted and then having a cop ask you about them? I have heard they are not supposed to be in/on a vehicle...but I don't know much about the laws for this. |

New Bohemia, VA | here in the Commonwealth we cannot not use them and they can be confinscated if they are mounted in such a way that they can be turned on and off while the vehicle is in operation through the state.
My dad, being a trucker had one and it was under his sit, unplugged and he got pulled by a trooper in Va. When he opened his door, the trooper saw it and took it. My dad argued him down that it was not permissible for him to take it as he was not using it. The trooper said prove it. Well, on two accounts, one it was under the seat where he couldn't reach it with the door shut, and two, he wouldn't have caught him if he was using it. After he wrote his ticket he gave it back to him. |

Lehigh Valley, Pa | I do not use one on the bikes, I am not trying to get anywhere fast. However I use the Escort Solo S2 in the cars and it works well plus it is cordless and the batteries last well enough.

rhode island | top of the line cobra, 12 band, never leave home without it.
High speeds are not the problem speed traps in small towns are a bigger threat.
virginia and DC not legal OK everywhere else.
mounted mine on a custom cut wedge with velcro on the dash.
Don't skimp on quality get a good detector.
