Just had the bike for 3 days. I am a nut about keeping it clean. My jacket must rub on the paint in front of the seat and causes light scratching in the clear coat. What are you doing to eliminate this. Tried a few things to get them out, but afraid to rub too hard. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

I know it sounds gross but I polished the bejeepers out of mine and had a Trim Line design guy put a piece of clear protectant on the area in question. If it starts to look like crap we do it again. So far so good.

3M makes great products to get the scratches out. Like Jim said you can put a pc of 3M stone guard there.
Some Victory and other jackets have a leather pc that covers the end of the zipper to prevent this.
I only find this to happen if I ride with my jacket unzipped. Having it zipped a few inches saves me the problem.

If you are in the States, you can get some Liquid Glass at your local auto store. Heard about this from Songfan and hes swears by it. I've seen his bike and it looks great. I have the same scratches and scuffs on mine and will probably get a new panel ($170.00) and use the Liquid Glass Songfan gave me to preserve it. The guys on this site have recommended multiple coats of it.

Thanks for your replys! I did read about the Liquid Glass. I went to auto zone last night. Searched the section they have all the Waxes and cleaners, no LG??? My girl friend says ask the guy at the front desk. I do, and he tells me that they only have 2 left on the discount counter. I read on their site that it costs around 23 dollars, but they are now 9.99!! Was going to buy both, but would have lasted 5 years on the bike. Did the panel in front of the seat last night and it looks really good. The rest of the bike will get done today!! 3 coats??? Will be there all day!!!
