Arkansas | I've been thinking about a flat peg/pedal for the same reason, but haven't yet checked on options that have same thread mount.

Hinton, Iowa | I replaced my brake and shifter pegs with Ness diamond pegs.(long) The are made to fit a Kingpin I believe. They look great and work great. I think you can get the comfort grip style for a Kingpin also.

Tri Cities, WA | Yeah I was not happy either with the size of the brake and shifter pegs on my baby girl. So I had my local dealer order me a set of ness knurled pegs (like on the Ness street vision). I added some rubber O rings for added tractions and so far it has worked out very well. It added enough length to fix my problems. Hope this helps.

So I am not the only one.  I feel I realy have to turn my foot in to find the brake. I have no problem with the shifter. I'll be watching this thread.

Tri Cities, WA | Necktie, Yes you can still stretch out with no issues at all. I'm 6'2" with a 34 " inseam and i have no problems. It made grabbing the rear brake much easier. I also had no isse's with the shifter but I couldnt just put one on, that would have looked silly. So i got two so they would match. Hope it works for ya if you go this direction. |

Tri Cities, WA | Bikerdave: I'm looking in my Ness 08 catalog and it says it's number is V-1139. I'm not sure what part number my lcoal Vic shop order it with. I hope that helps. The cool part is the Knurled one does NOT require the additional purchase of the Adpater Stud (V-1108) |

Southeast Iowa | You can also use part #2875019 Comfort Shift / Brake Lever Ends sold by Victory. They are the 4 band ISO peg listed for the Kingpin in the 08 dealer catalog. They measure about 2 3/4" long and screw right in. List cost each is $19.99 |

scotts valley, California | I am six foot tall with only a 30 inch inseam. The brake peddle is as far back as it will go and still a little to far forward for my comfort. I rigged up a really classy looking set up with a 4" C clamp, three hose clamps, and a couple of rubber balls, which really worked well for me except for the attention it got! What would really work well for me is a peddle bar about three inches shorter than stock. |

Plainfield Illinois | I'm considering one of these. I've not yet decided though as I'm wondering if this would really be a functional improvement over the stock pedal for me. I have no problem with my size 11 right boot hitting the stock one. Here's the url that goes with the picture. Did you have a hard time getting the brake pedal peg off the brake arm? I tried to screw mine out and it won't budge. Do they put locktite on the threads? I tried locking pliers, large pliers and it won't budge afraid I am going to snap it off. Shifter peg screwed out by hand. Any ideas, anybody? |

Tri Cities, WA | hmmm wierd. mine came right off with no issues. I wish i could help more. I kinda remembering seeing alittle some thing on them like loctite. I'm heading to my dealer today and i will ask them as well for ya. |

New Castle Delaware | GOT IT Just needed bigger channel locks and put some more muscle into it and don't be afraid it it is gonna break off. Now to order some pegs.

Prescott, Az | Mine were locked tighted on as are the new ones I put on. I had to use vise grips on the shifter peg. Went on a long run today and they are great. |

Kerrville Texas ( now a homeowner on six acres) | I do not understand the problem with the rear break pedal.I have riden 23,600 miles and have never had any trouble "finding " the rear brake pedal.
Besides, I thought the bike was made to GOOOOO not stop, why worry about the pedal being BIG?

Dont waste your money on "needed" stuff ! that just reduces what you have available for NEAT stuff like CHROME and goodies!
