I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for my inappropriate posts in a recent oil thread. I allowed anger, and ego to control my actions. Though I can not promise. I will try to refrain from such actions in the future

At some point we are all guilty of being over passionate in our beliefs and letting our ego's cause us to say and do things we normally would not do or say.
What is important is that we realize it happened and take responsible for our actions and then act accordingly. You have acted accordingly, so no problems here mate.

p/s BTW lot of good info on the thread

No problem. You put out a lot of good info. I have been wavering on using other than Victory oil, but you helped me make up my mind to keep using it for the time being. I don't need any clutch problems. It was kind of humorous at times. I enjoyed your posts.

Kevin, I have appreciated your willingness to share your knowledge and experience. It only strengthens your position and credibility when you are able to take responsibility and apologize when you get distracted from your message. Thanks for your contributions.

Kevin, although it was not my intention to question your credibility, or start a debate I can surely see how it could have been taken that way. And of course once started down that path I don't think either one of us were prepared to waiver. With that said I hope you'll except my sincere apology since it appears I did offend you. It honestly was not my intent, nor did it have anything to do with that other thread.
I think the post shared some good info and clearly demonstrated the opposing views, so I don't think our diversion from the topic completely voided the info there. If I get to FL this summer I'll buy the first round of coffee. Ride safe....

ps.. Sorry if the banter insulted or offended anyone else....... T

Way to go Teach. I agree. You are also an asset to this forum. I wouldn't mind joining you both for a beverage.

WAIT!!! What did I miss? I'm in Maui and still living thru the trauma of having to rent a "H_____ D________" for God's sakes in order to fulfill my passion for riding.... Kevin - PLEASE - have some appreciation for nice things besides 'oil' ....
