First off Happy Easter to everyone!

I put the exhaust on yesterday, but have yet to start it. I'm still wainting on my "gray" parts to be painted to put the entire bike back together.

Those of you that have the Atom exhaust,,,, don't you think the factory clamps (6 of them) that hold your chrome shield over the exhaust are a pain in the you know what??? I said the heck with them and bought six 4" hose clamps at a local autoparts store to put the shields back on. It went very smooth with them!

Just curious if others reused the factory clamps.

I'm on vacation this week, and should have all my parts painted by Tuesday, and if all goes well bike back together and riding Wednesday!!!

What are you changing from? I have the S1/L1 exhaust now and I am considering the Atom bombs.

I'm changing from stock exhaust to Atom Bombs. I'm sure you know, but Atom Bombs are recored stock mufflers, thus that is why I took the crome shields off of the stock exhaust. The six clamps that hold your crome covers to your exhaust are a pain.

I just got off the phone with my painter, and it is done!!!

Bike is disassembled now, but I hope to have her all back together very soon!! I will take pictures of it.

Question...why are you considering changing from the S1/L1's? I believe KevinX posted that with the Gatlin tips this setup actually has more HP than the S1/L2s.

Just curious.

I love them. Just thinking about a little louder sound. The mod to the original pipes sitting in the attic seems like an inexpensive way to go and I can keep the tailgunner tips. Just tossing it around.

Big difference from stock. To me stock was way too quite. I was going to do the exhaust upgrade after I made a couple of payments, but ended up doing it at the 500 mile service, ten days after I took her home. When you get on it it's kinda loud. I don't want obnoxious, just more of a rumble when cruising.

The S1/L1 requires remapping of the bike and they also change the air filter. The new air filter is re-useable so it just has to be blown out at service instead of replaced. I love the sound of them on my Vision and there is a BIG difference between stock.

On my Victory Jackpot I used to run straight headers with a Lloyds VMC III....now that was loud. Sorta ticked off the neighbors so I've toned it down a bit.

Just curious...what was the turnaround on the pipes? What else will be required for the exhaust? New tips...re-map?

I have heard both the s1/l1 and the s1/l2 and I think at an idle the l2 are quieter than the l1s but then the l2s are louder everywhere else.

Has anybody on here heard the 2 into 1 full exhaust that RPW makes for the Vision yet? I was thinking of running them on mine. Either that or hope/wait unitl Bassani makes one, I put one on my my girlfriends vegas and love the sound and power!

Turnaround was about a week.  I'm not doing any re-map, still have stock tips but will be changing to gatlin tips at some point.

Yea, It says its a real 2 into 1. I am guessing the muffler on the left side is a "dummy". There are some pics on there website. http://rpwusa.com/RPW-USA-victory-vision.htm If you look at the rightside pic there is no crossover pipe. The biggest reason I want a full exhaust is the stock head pipes look like catalitic coverters when you take the mufflers off and look inside them. I would imagine aftermarket one would flow alot better.

I got an email from Lloyd saying that the slip ons work better with the cams than the RPW full exhaust. I guess they are working on that? I guess I'll end up with one of the slip ons for now.
