I ordered a clutch kit from Witch Doctors, the kit came in quickly but there was no Fiction Plate Special Outer (item 10A in the service manual). Does anyone know if the Barnett clutch kit 306-85-40001 just uses the same friction plate for the outer as the other eight? The Barnett web site doesn't list an 08 Vision but the Witch Doctor's site did. The Victory parts site lists the same clutch part number and diagram for all visions 2008 - 2017. Thanks in advance

did you get 10 friction and 9 steels. Guessing you use the remainder of the original parts

I don't think you use the old 'special' friction plate, but I think there is a how-to video on the WD website that shows the clutch replacement and talks about that.

I just used the new parts provided with the kit, and also replaced the clutch spring and pressure plate. I have over 75,000 miles and spend alot of time riding in the everglades, so I figured my clutch had over-heated and was starting to fail. After replacing the clutch, I believe it was just the clutch spring that was getting weak. The clutch replacement was much easier than I thought and think anyone can change their own, but I would recommend changing the clutch spring and pressure plate at the same time. Thanks for the help!
