Thinking of doing some mods to increase hp and torque. What Lloydz products are best for street use that can be installed by a fairly mechanically inclined person?

you could do cams and have 110 horse. Or you could do good exhaust and a good fuel tuner a long with top air filter and be just under 100 horse.
Its all about money. Of course you can do the cams but then you have to get a dyno tune

Thanks Johnny. I'm already running stage 1 exhaust and performance air filter from Victory. Just thought I'd do a little more if I could do it myself without too much help.

You might want to search previous threads as theres already been plenty of discussions on this subject. My Vision came with a stage I exhaust and after a year I did the Lloyds top filter and timing wheel. They made a huge improvement in performance and even lowered the exhaust note. No fuel controller needed since I always run premium fuel - as evidenced by the fact that the bike has not backfired once and its been nearly 10k miles now.

Your next step should be adding cams and an ECU reflash. Include a rev-limiter increase to 6400 RPM in all six gears. You'll be somewhere around 115 HP and TQ, which is likely a 30 HP increase over what you have now. Add the top filter and gain another 5.

The best state-of-the art tuners today are NOT one of the piggyback devices that have been so popular in the past. Today, the way to go is with an ECU reflash. With them, the need for things like a PCV and a timing wheel are eliminated, because the ECU does it all. No extra parts needed.

There is a very small amount or guy that can do a ECM reflash.
Not knowing where you live you should call around. 98% of dealers can't do reflash you need to go to a dyno guy.
Maximum tuner is the top of the line and do 90% more then a PCV. It can tell you error codes and yes no need for timing wheel

How about data logging and remote tuning? No need to go to a dyno for ECU reflashing. http://801motoworx.com/index.php/shop_capabilities/full-engine-buil...

They do the tuning for you using this http://technoresearch.com/index.php/products/for-single-user/maximu...

Or, maybe you prefer Dynojet products. They can help you reflash your ECU too http://dynojet.com/powervision/powervision-cx-product-info.aspx
