Great to see 915 people have decide to get a handle and join the forum. I was thinking how cool would that be to get half of the 2444 Visions sold in year one to join the forum and then it dawned on me that maybe quite a few "users" don't have a Vision...yet!

What's your guess....if you buy a Vision...are you more or less likely to become a "habitual user" here the "Vision Kingdom"?

What? Habit? What habit? It's an addiction! Had my Vision about a month when I found Vision-Riders.

My dealer (Sales Reps and Service Manager) didn't know about this site until I mentioned that I knew of a recall on the Vision - before they did. They wanted to know how I learned about it before they did. (This was in September)
Wouldn't it be nice if this "knowledge" was part of the package given to every new Vision purchaser? Just thinkin.....

Ouch. My dealer hates the forums because of all the "misinformation" and they are talking about the other site vmc. They won't deal with any because of it. Unmonitored forums can create problems, and I mean from a institutional knowledge standpoint. By the time something wrong is said it has spread around before it can be corrected. I take all forums with a grain of salt.

So the Dealers play 'Ostrich'? Stick their head in the sand and pretend Vision-Riders site doesn't exist? Rather than admit it does, and use it for their own advantage? Pretend that the site will go away if they don't promote it? Pretend that no one will start another site if it does go away? Are they that stupid?
So many questions.....

I found out about the web site from a victory dealer so all of them are not apposed to a forum. I know of at three dealers who monitor the sight.

I like Don's idea...never thought of that...neat concept. I would assume (always dangerous) that anybody that reads a thread can use their "walnut size T-Rex" brain morsel and put it into a proper context to ask their local dealer about a possible question brought up on this site. I don't read the most tragic story of woe on the site without questioning it...not from a doubt it happened standpoint...but from a "is this a mass problem" issue. So I would present the issue to my dealer in an open ended question format and see how he reacts...no prejudice in the way the question is asked...and see react to their opinion.
