Subject: Victory kingpin shifter malfunction

I have a 2006 victory kingpin. When I would shift it would just sit in that gear and not automatically pop back in the position to shift into the next gear I would have to manually tap it back into position and than I could shift into the next gear. After viewing a schematic it looked like it may be a little return spring inside the crank case. After pulling apart the crank case everything looks fine. Any information would be awesome. Also the torque recommendation for putting the crank case back on.

I think its #12 that sticks out of your primary
