2013 Vision Tour, VFC III, Timing Wheel +4, Front and top filter, Ness Big Honkers. 94 hp & 114 tq. It appears that the cams get you 16-18 hp.

They also extend that extra power for another 1000 RPM or so over the stock cams, letting you stay in each gear much longer. That is very significant if you are trying to show your taillights off to somebody--like 1800 Goldwings.

2008 Vision Tour Premium, VFCIII, top filter, cams, Lloydz ECU, stock exhaust, stock front filter 12.60s @ 105 MPH. Goldwings can't keep up. They are consistently 4/10ths and 5 MPH slower on any given day.

I went to the Vic Shop in Iowa and 4-1/2 hours later, went out with 120 HP and 114 ft of torque.

just remember a dyne operator can make them spit out whatever you want. do you smile when you twist the throttle? my Lloydz cams, vfc, rev extender and thundersticks sure do

Could you post your dyno sheet? I'd be interested in seeing it. Not a lot of people go with the Andrews cam and I'd like to see how it compares with the VM1-DR cams. I have similar mods to your bike but have the timing gear and adjustable intake which loses some top end numbers but gains lower and a flatter torque curve.

Add to all those factors the test parameters the dyno is set to. Just switching from SAE to STD will gain you 4 % increase with a simple flip of a switch.

A dyno is useful as a before and after comparison tool as changes are made to the bike. Comparing charts from one dyno to another is not very useful, or meaningful.

for example, if Kyle had set his dyno to a smoothing factor of 4 instead of 5, and used STD parameters instead of SAE, boatsrfun's chart would have read 120 HP instead of 114.

Kyle uses conservative settings.

The numbers people get from things like the Teresi Dyno Drag trailers are a freaking joke.

that's a nice looking torque curve. They really smoothed it out though. It comes on strong and stays flat for a nice long time! It's nice having that on demand isn't it?

Who really cares what numbers we have? My Vision is completely stock except for the Jet Exhaust Tips and I can still blow away any Harley short of the mega bucks 110CI Screaming Eagle CVO versions......... If this is about bragging rights, well, I'm long past that stage in my life as I just like to ride!

I don't care about numbers on a dyno chart because they don't mean much in the real world. I do care about real world performance.

I ride with a group that includes Goldwings and Harleys. Some of those Harley guys have some very impressive dyno numbers. Better than what I've seen posted here by Visions. So what? They are just dyno charts showing impressive peak numbers.

My Vision has just two of Lloydz hard parts, plus a fuel controller, and a Lloydz ECU reprogram. Stock exhaust. It looks and sounds 100% stock. It is as quiet and unassuming as a Goldwing, but it blows a GL1800 away in performance.

The mega bucks 110 CI Screaming Eagle Harleys quickly learned not to try and outrun either the GWs or my Vision. The GWs tried, but they can't keep up with my Vision either.
