VA | When I did my first test ride on the Vision, I blipped, or burped, the throttle at a stop sign, and it stalled. I told the dealer this when I got back and they indicated that the ECM (Electronic Control Module) which controls the fuel injection, for the 08's didn't like that. They said they were told by the reps that they were putting a new one in the 09's. He indicated that you could buy the 09 ECM and put it in the 08. Kinda interesting that some of the 09's are having the same problem. I had to break the habit, but I stopped blipping it, and I've never had the stall to date. Kinda worried that I'll get the recall done, this Sat. and then I'll start having the problem. Hope that ain't the case. I've been lucky, so far I haven't had any major problems with mine. |
