I was skeptical on the beads but they work great no issues. Slow parking lot turns or running VV 100+mph no difference still smooth

If you plan on keeping your scooter for awhile I would also check into the centramatic system front/rear. Popular among the Goldwing crowd and I like them also. Improved tire wear by 30-50%, always perfectly balanced irregardless of tread life, lower tire temps, significantly decreased vibration, and the bike feels like its on rails, which significantly increases confidence in the twisties in addition to braking I run the Avons front/rear and get the same mileage out of the Avons as I used to get with the E3s without the centramatics, which is 12-13K consistently. Unfortunately, the centramatics will set you back about 300 bucks so I understand why many use the dyna beads instead, but keep in mind those beads will heat up inside the tire, which will no happen with the centramatics since these are mounted behind the rotor. Have fun, Vlad.

I've been running Dunlop Elite 3s with Dynabeads and filled with nitrogen for the past year and the ride quality and tire life appear to be vastly improved. There doesn't appear to be as large a swing in tire pressure from cold to hot as with just using regular, now the pressure only increases about 2 psi when hot versus when cold.

That said, I've routinely gotten between 18K to 20K miles on a set of the Elite 3s. The worst tires to stay away from though are the Shinkos, only got 6K miles on a set of those before both the front and rear cupped to the point of being dangerous.

i have been running beads for about 4-5 years now.. love them ... what i really like it.. when i used to get a new tire, the wheel weights were for how the tire was when it was new at that moment it was installed.. with the beads its a fresh balance every day.. even when the tire wears and is no longer like it was when it was new...

Had new tires put on front/rear. Wasn't balanced right and introduced a heck of a wobble above 65mph. Had a 1500+ mile trip rapidly approaching so I rushed CounterAct Beads to my door. Installed them and the wobble was gone. Had an amazing trip to DC and back. Put 1,650 miles on in 5 days with no worries/wobble whatsoever. I'm a believer. I'll use beads from now on.

Me too! Ride On Tire Sealant. Have been using for the last 3 sets of tires. Love it!

Been using the same set of beads for probably 4 sets of tires. No clumping like shown in the video. No dust from decomposing. My guess is that someone put a tire sealant into the tire which the beads attached to. I only use soapy water for lubrication when mounting rather than some of the grease based lubricants just for this reason.

My point exactly. How many beads is enough per tire? I wasn't aware there was a "bead recipe" involved here. I'm a no frills guy and all about utility and function. I will skip on the tassels and fancy "custom" doohickies for stuff that works. I guess the old utility and function genes die hard from my end, but for the record I have been happy with the centramatics, which is saying something since I'm not happy with much nowadays.

Sometimes the new fangled "doohickies" solve a problem for which a solution was never able to be found.  In the case of active balancing of tires, whether by beads or Centramatic balancers, the idea is of constant and adaptive tire balancing which in turn results in longer life and even tire wear.  The idea that these constant balancers are being used by large bus and trucking companies gives creedance and standing to the benefits gained from their use.
