The lower wind deflectors on my Vision fell off. I need the template to glue them back on. I don't have the template because the dealer installed them.
Does anyone have a template they could send me?

Thanks,
Manny

i just saw your post and yes, I keep my template for just that reason. I could sent it to you if you still need it. I'd like them back when you're done with them.

I had both of my lower wind deflectors blow off on my way to Sturgis in 2010. I re-installed them with auto trim adhesive tape from a body shop. Before I re-attached them I drilled 2 ,( 1/4) inch holes in each of the mounts. One hole drilled 1 1/2" from the front edge of the mount. The other hole was drilled just behind the square part of the mount. After the lowers were mounted for 24 hours I carefully drilled through the faring (be very careful not to puncture the gas tanks). With 8 machine screws (1/4" x 1 1/2) I secured the mount to the faring. You will need small fingers to reach behind the faring as you thread the nut onto the screw. Add a drop locktite to each screw before you insert it into the mounts. Tighten them up and never deal with that problem again.
