This picture was taken at a 2009 bike rally in Jefferson, Texas, when my bike was still a new and strange sight to many attendees.  The way the morning sun was shining on my Vision parked next to a bunch of Harley's, really stated it was the New American Motorcycle and in my opinion made the H-D's look dated.

Five years later other than oil changes, tire replacements, and headlight bulb replacements (2), she still looks new and everything works like new. I bought from Victory because I wanted dependability and low cost maintenance after several years of riding a BMW LT with issues and $$$ service costs. Looking back I could not have made a better decision.

As good of bike as the Vision is if Polaris would make a big Adventure Touring bike to challenge BMW's R1200GSA, I would be very interested as a tall rider.

Not much has changed in 5 years. The Vision still sticks out like a sore thumb. A few improvements would do wonders for this bike, i.e. keyless ignition, better radio and speakers with Bluetooth capability, reengineered front fender, bigger saddle bags, and less weight.

That sounds like a new Victory model to me.

I have faith in next year or two Victory will come out with some nice improvements to the Vision.

I'm pretty sure that sunlight hitting the bike just right was God's way of shining His approval of the Vision!

I was at the NYC bike show. The 2015 Vision looked unchanged.

Well... it is definitely one of a kind. Why change it? It's look is timeless....

When another motorcycle manufacturer steps up to create something like the Vision...then maybe what we ride will change in response.

For now, Ma Vic doesn't have a need to change it... personally; I am fine with that. I enjoy riding unique motorcycles.

A friend of mine, who rides Harleys, invited me to join his group for their weekly Wednesday morning breakfast ride. So I did. When I pulled into the designated parking lot to meet up with the other riders, they all came swarming around my Vision and wanted to know what it was, who made it, and "when did they come out with those?". They were amazed when I told them I bought it new in 2008. They were impressed that it is Made In The USA.

Visions are still unique, even after 7 years.

That's one of my favorite reactions as well After explaining the Victory and demonstrating the Vision's features watching their second blown away reaction when I tell them it's an '08.
My wife and I just figure on longer stops when we do. My Vision and her white & silver '11 Cross Country, even the none riders enjoy the eye candy. I'll be quick to say..... it's usually her they notice first.

My problem is I am riding the bike so getting a selfie requires a better man than I but I have some great memories of Sturgis this year. Arch
