Any ideas on boot heel guards for my 2010 VV, seems that I can't always keep my heels away from the Muffler.

I've never seen one on a Vic . They were pretty common on the HDs.

look in J&P or Dennis Kirk harley has them and maybe you could make on work for you.
I even though about buying a L bracket from the hardware store and bolting to the bottom of the board

drilled hole in floor board and mounted a short riser from a junked rice grinder. Glued chrome studs to fill holes for handle bars.
Will try to get a picture of same and upload.

I see riding is at least 75% of training your body to move and conform with the bike. It only took me a few times to know not what to do, and now it's second nature. I can understand them making guards for Harley since most owners only ride a handful of times in a year, that's never enough to make anything second nature. Victory riders are addicted to the ride...

I use these on my License Plate, thought of drilling hole, so when my foot get too close I can feel these drill/mounted to the floor board.

If you keep your foot that far back one day you'll get it cough under the rear tip over and it will lay you up for a week

Its either that or the fact that an HD exhaust is right at the same level as the floorboard with nothing in between to block. If you tuck your feet in close, like in foul weather, you will make contact on them. On a Vision you need to raise that heel several inches before contacting a spot that will mark the same way.
