I received my recall notice on the 23rd, but my dealer doesnt have the download available..yet...Dealer told me sometime next week........thats ass backwords.

Had my recall on the terminals done with the flash. I've got the cycle dragon pipes and before the flash I had a little bit of popping in the exhaust, not a lot but some. Now I've got absolutely none and I'm sure it's all in my head but the bike seems to run better.
BTW, I had to show the guy where the diagnostic connector was so he could hook up his computer.
They didn't know anything about the recall until I showed up, but they found it and took care of me quickly while I waited.
They replaced a defective audio wiring harness that's been giving me fits, so thumbs up to them.

Thats Bull!@#$ that your dealer did not have the download. Thursday September 25 happen to be the first day that Polaris was starting to do the authorization codes. Remind you that auth codes were only required for Stage one level 1 or 2 exhaust systems. OEM or stock reflash require no auth codes.
The updated Digital Wrench software was made available to all Polaris dealers on September 16th, 2008. The only excuse that might have held water was that Polaris exhuausted a daily quota of authorization codes that would have had to be generated. By the way, did you dealer take the time to connect the Digital wrench and download a Service Report from your bike? That is a requsite to obtain an Authorization code for a Stage 1 reflash.

wjoel - 2008-09-26 7:13 PM I had my 08 vision to my dealer-Blue Ridge Polaris for a couple days.They checked the terminal nuts on the circuit breaker-they were tight.They torqued to prpoer specs.They also re-programmed the ECM after consulting Polaris.When I rode home,it seemed as though the idle is slightly higher.

I hope you realize that the reflash has nothing to do with the idle.  That is still a mechanical adjustment.  But the bike should always idle around 980 to 1100 at operating temperature.

Got mine today. i guess mail is slower in Pa. i guess i'll have it done when they replace the defective windshield the replacement for which came in last week with no distortion. imagine that.

You should look for a new dealer. My first Victory purchase was from a small town Polaris dealer, they were terrable. I switched to Arlen Ness and they give first cass service. I purchased my Vision from them because of the great service. The good dealers will know what to do.
