Anyone know how to tighten the Silver Vision Plate in the middle of the trunk? In between the top lights on the trunk.

You will have to split the trunk lid to get to the fastners. There are about a dozen or so screws on the inside of the trunk lid that you will have to remove. The inner lid will kind of fall out of the way and allow access to the 3 screws holding the Vision "Plate".

What Jimbo said.

There are a 'lot' of screws, 4mm. You also have to remove the big 6mm screws holding the passenger backrest on.
When it falls out be considerate of the wiring. There are retaining clips that will harmlessly break away before any damage is done, but it may be a little unsettling.

As an aside, this whole process is isn't necessary to get to the tail lights. The trunk liner screws behind the lights are what's holding them in. I may be dumb teaching dumber with that note, but it was an 'ah ha' moment to me since I was shooting for the trim piece the first time I did this. Never thought about the tail lights till somebody was demonstrating it later.

Since you are having to work on the "Vision" plate, why don't you get yourself one of the lighted versions. They wire right into the trunk running lights. Very easy mod, and looks good too.
