went to my dealer today and met a custumer on a '10 vision tour premium. he bought it new and it came with heated LEATHER seat. I have 09 vision tour premium. But my seat is vinyl. I did not buy mine new so has it been changed or what? I really liked the feel of the leather. Does victory offer a leather seat? I am about 3 weeks away from production on a Russell day long, and jus weighing other options before I make the $800 plunge.

The only leather Vision seat I know about is the early Ness seat. It's lower than the Tour seat, has some fancy stitching and no heat. Oh, and it still costs the same as the heated Tour seat.

Liking my Terry Adcocks seat so far. Made several one, two, and four hour rides on it and it's been a nice seat. He did exactly as we asked when he built it for us.

I modified my stock Vision 8-Ball seat and completed the IBA 2000+ miles in 36 hours ride, also did an average of 700 miles a day for 16 days while doing the ride to Key West, Florida and Prudhoe Bay, Alaska ride and did 4 IBA rides in one week last June.

I'm very happy with it.

Leather seat have to be conditioned about twice a summer. If not they are like a sponge and absorb water. Vinyl ones water will run off
Some vinyl seats will have leather sides for flexing.
What I have learned with our seats is to mink oil the stitching about once a month to prevent tearing a long stitching lines
wood beads or ship skin are great to prevent monkey butt

I think there's some kind of missunderstanding there.  Victory doesn't do leather seats.  There may be some special edition bikes that do, but no standard models.

You can get a leather seat for a Victory/Vision, but not from Victory with a motorcycle bolted to the bottom of it.

With a few exceptions I suppose such as Monkeymman mentioned above.

If I was you, spend the money and get the Russel Day Long seat, especially if you plan on keeping the bike for awhile. Your ars will thank you, especially on those long days.

Before I spent $900 on a Vic saddle, I'd spend that (or less) on a RDL (or similar). I just want to swap my stock (heated Tour) saddle for a stock 8 Ball/Ness seat.

Doh! Guess I got it wrong then.  Never seen a factory leather seat.  I wasn't shopping for Visions in '09 either though.

I really didn't think the one linked above was Victory brand. But...

Sorry 'bout that.
