Dayton, OH | Victory accessories are PIAA and run about $300; what's comparable and more reasonably priced?? I was looking at Kuryakyn's silver bullets but they are only 20W quartz halogens. Anyone using LEDs?? |

Manchester, CT | I'm running Clearwater DARLA LEDs but they are $500 and worth every penny. They are awesome for daytime and they turn night into day with each pushing 2000 lumens |

I ride to work often at 3:00 am on a very dark freeway. These light up the road super well. In the day time the light spectrum is different from normal driving lights so you stand out from the crowd. |

| I'll add another voice for the Clearwater LEDs.
They are super bright, adjustable, low current draw, very high quality, and Made in USA.
I tried PIAAs and I would never use anything but Clearwaters. They are on both of my Visions and will go on my Indian. |

Rockford, IL | The Clearwater Darlas are a very well built light however at about $500 for aprox 2000 lumens they are fairly expensive. And the PIAA units at aprox $350 for halogen bulbs is just a crazy stupid price. You can get much brighter lights that are built just as well for a lot cheaper.
Check here http://www.2allbuyer.com/PRODUCTS for 3500 lumens units for less than $200. That's almost twice the lumens for less than half the price of the Darla units.
There is a guy named Kelly Booth that can be located on the Victory Vision Riders FB page that can make a nice set of mounting brackets for you for at a pretty reasonable price.

Manchester, CT | Just took a look at those LEDs. Just going by the pictures the construction, design and quality of materials appear to fall short of the Clearwaters. With that aside, what it comes down to is tech specs. The light pattern, beam focus and spread short middle and long distance. Another key is power consumption. One last point, the darlas use a patented technology to dim the lights. It actually reduces or speeds up the strobing rate of thr LEDS. this provides very finite brightness control |

Manchester, CT | Oh forgot one last thing...the increased lumens without additional information makes it diddicult to compare them against any competitor. The lense is critical. The 3000 lumens may only project out a very short distance |
