Some websites say it is the 3rd Wednesday in July. Others say it's June 17. Anyone know for sure the official date?

this year I'm not going to worry about it, the ones who ride, ride anyways, the ones that just own a motorcycle make an excuse like any other day why they didn't ride, ie. too hot, too wet, have a meeting, had to stop by the bank, grocery store, doctors, etc.

Have fun. http://www.ridetowork.org/

I ride to work everyday, it's just another day for me. However, there are 44 other motorcycle owners at my work who don't ride so often. I am simply tryiing to notify them of the Ride To Work Day. Varyder, the website you supplied shows both dates. Look in the upper left at the RTW logo. It says 3rd Wednesday of July. But, the main body of the page says June 17. I'm confused. Anyone know for sure?

I don't see what you see, it's always been the third monday in June that I know of.

and that logo from 2000 from the goldwing site maybe a joke, or for that year.  I never believe what a winger says...

As varider said, those who don't ride every day always have some excuse like too hot, too wet, have a meeting, had to stop by the bank, grocery store, doctors, etc. We now have confirmation of his observation. Thanks for that broggyr.

Really? This is your response to my first post on this board?

I have over 100,000 miles of MC experience, so simply choosing to not ride in a storm is an 'excuse'? Thanks for clearing that up.

Some of us rode into Hot Springs Ar. last August during Isaac. Not on purpose mind ya, just worked out that way. Quite an experience.

being out of work I'll just ride along with someone else that is riding to work. Of course once they reach their destination its time for the GPS to take over
