Just spent the Memorial Day weekend riding around the Harrison area of Arkansas. What a blast. Love the twisty roads and friendly people. Stayed at Scooters Hub bike resort. Its an excellent place to stay for the comrade of fellow bikers. Only bad thing is if you don't get up early you get a cold shower but the owers are good people who understand bikers and do everything they can to accomadate. I had some sport bike guys amazed at how well the VV handles by keeping pace with them pretty well down Push Mountain Road. They had a whole new respect for the VV after that run and a couple blast up and down 7. Can't wait till i can go back.

Sshhh... Arkansas is one of the best-kept secrets of the motorcycle world. Great riding, beautiful scenery, and centrally located.
We'll be returning to the Ozarks soon.

Yep, that whole area, from where you were, west to Oklahoma, and north into Missouri is some great riding. The country going south from Eureka Springs down towards Hot Springs is my favorite. Deal's Gap (the famed "Dragon") was a bit of a disappointment after having ridden the Ozarks roads for so many years.

Try Missouri highway 86 from Cassville to Eagle Rock and then go south on Arkansas 23 into Eureka Springs sometime. Those two roads are what the "Dragon" wants to be when it grows up. They're just a couple of many in the area.

Got back from AR myself a couple of weeks ago. Will be returning this fall. I love riding in the Ozarks and can't wait for the return trip.

All super country, just never, I mean NEVER! sit in the grass beside the road or you will become familiar with a little saber toothed crotch critter called a Chigger. An experience you won't forget. Love the Pig Trail.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02fnjQ8a2rQ<br />

There is some great riding there. We stay in Harrison a couple of times a year and enjoy the area.
