I am looking to get a backrest for my Vision. My question is: has anyone tried both the Utopia and Victory backrest? If so, which do you prefer and why? Thanks for any help.

I have the Victory backrest and it works great. Can't say about the Utopia, but I wouldn't change -- its that comfortable.

I have tried both. The Victory one suits the Vision lines better, but the Utopia provides a better range of comfort. I just couldn't get the Vic backrest in a comfortable position for me (6'7". They both work, but your individual body shape will affect which one works better for you. Unfortunately, you won't know unless you can try both...

I have the Utopia on my Vision and on the wifes Cross Roads. Best backrest on the market in my opinion, fully adjustable and only $215 +Shipping.

I've never tried the Vic branded backrest. I have the Utopia and it's uber confortable. I can adjust the on the fly and you can adjust the height with an allen wrench (not while moving unless you're REALLY talented). It fits me as close to perfectly as any. I'm notoriously cheap...er, frugal...I mean COST EFFECTIVE and I haven't regretted the $215 for a second. The ONLY potential issue is the size IF you have a regular passenger. The Utopia is bigger at the bottom so there's slightly less room for a passengers legs. It's my bike so MY comfort is what's important. If your OL doesn't like it, get her her own bike or ditch the lady.
