My Icom system seems to have a volume differential from driver to passinger we can both listen to the music source at a comfortable volume but the passenger volume control is set low enough that the icom voice from the driver is inaudible unless the passenger volume is raised considerably above what is comfortable when the music comes back on.
Has anybody else seen this?

It's supposed to have a volume differential. The passenger's volume control is completely separate from the driver's. The stereo, intercom, and CB volumes are all individually adjusted by the passenger. Try adjusting each one in turn. The passenger's volume levels do not display on the console like the driver's do. Just adjust to suit. Volume adjustsments can be made anytime a source is being heard in the headset speakers. At least that's how it works on our bike.
