Anyone else think that $29,999 is too much for a 15th anniversary cross country? That's a good looking bike but I don't see it being worth that much.. Jmo

Same here. I'd love to be a fly on the wall during the meeting where they determine MSRP. I think they are starting to drink their own Kool-Aid.

Anything is worth exactly what someone will pay. There is no way it is worth that much to me but it might be worth it to the next guy through the door behind me.

One thing that turned me on to the Vision was good pricing compared to other tourers. I liked the Premium model which had all the chrome and goodies on it. That's been replaced with black paint. The gas shocks are gone from the saddle bag lids. I can go on and on, but I think this has already been discussed in another post (Victory cheaping up the Vision). At what point does it become just another overpriced bike???

All 100 examples of the 2009 Victory Vision Tour 10th Anniversary ($28,999) sold out in 7 minutes on August 1, 2008. Registered owners will be invited to the 2009 Daytona Bike Week VIP Owners Celebration, and will receive two nights hotel in Daytona.

Still makes me smile, lol

Sold in 7 minutes to dealers with speed dial on their fax machines. I thought was a poor way to do it. Some of the good long time dealers I like never got one and other dealers ended up with 3 cause dealers that got them couldn't sell them. I did enjoy the VIP celebration in Daytona.

I fell in love with the 15th Anny model when I saw it at the Javitt's Center. But the price has kept me away from trading. It doesn't even come with reverse? Now that I am 60 and a cancer survivor, I think a "smaller" (XCT) would be easier to handle than Anny. I had a nice dealer offer me a pretty good deal on a trade. I understand that the XCT is the top selling bike so it demands the highest price. But it doesn't seem like it should be priced like an Indian....

I hope the ones that get them enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed Anny. 50,000 miles and still love her.

Nothing is worth what the Dealers are asking, that's why I buy used now! I found a 2 year old vehicle with very low mileage has the same feeling as new to my soul but not the same damage as new is to my wallet.
My pickup sold for $49,500 new in 08, I bought it used with 30,000 miles on it in 2010 for $30,000......saved almost $20,000.
My Vision sold for $21,450 new in 08, I bought it used with 13,500 miles on it(new tires on it) for $12,400........saved almost $10,000.
I saved almost $30,000 on two vehicles that are darn near brand new.
I'm done with buying New from dealers, let the younger guys spend the big bucks I'm looking at retiring and don't need or want the big payments.

I would not buy it as the price is way out of line for me....But as said above, Victory will sell every one they make as there is a lot of cash out there in motorcycle land...All those with lots-of-bucks to spend will step up to the plate quickly and purchase the bike just cause they can!!!

Like it, would love to own it, with all the add ons seems a little high but a Ness is only a few K cheaper.

$30,000 is too much, for me.

If I paid that much for a bike I would have no money left for road trips. I paid $14,000 for a new Vision 8-Ball in 2010.
$16,000 pays for a lot gas and motel rooms.

My buddy bought one last week and while the price is too high considering it does not have reverse or diamond cut heads or even the pull back bars it is a really beautiful paint job one of the best I've seen from Victory IMHO .My buddy really loves his and likes having 1 of 150 and I think the bike looks alot better in person than the pictures.I think Victory needs to hire a new photographer as none of the pictures ever seem to be as good as the bikes look in living color.
