| Gave the Eric $1 trunk fix the test and it does not work for me for whatever reason...Carefully cut the fuel line hose to several different lengths, but rattle was worse...Went back to my 3/8" window moulding in the lower trunk channel added a couple felt chair leg bumpers to the latch area and much better for me....Just for info, not to fault anothers fix....... |

, FL United States | David, I just got done installing the rubber bumpers that come with Vision trunks. Ordered 2 of part# 5413754 thru my dealer which came in less than a week. Got my parts man Justin to print out the instructions for the trunk rack installation and on page 4 photo 17 shows where to drill two 7/16" holes in the trunk lid. Parts cost me 6.99 each + tax. Took about 5 minutes to do. Trunk shuts with a "thunk" (not rattles) which it hasn't done for years. Very happy with this mod. |

| Thanks, I may try the rubber bumper mod..As for now my fix seems to be okay and the trunk only rattles over very rough road surfaces and then only very slightly compared to what it used to do....Since this seems to have been an issue with the Vision trunks since day one, I am rather surprised that Ma Vic has not issued a fix for this rattle....Oh well, some just turn up the music and let her rattle.......
