I don't think there is much difference between my wife CR & my Vision. Unless you are running the wrong air pressure in the shock I don't think your going to drag a board on either. |

East TN | A Vision has BETTER lean angle than does a XC...I occasionally drag my floorboards, but my buddy who has a XC drags his floorboards almost all the time...Especially, on the Dragon Cherohala Skyway and a bunch of other roads around here... |

I can attest that the Vision floorboards can easily be dragged. All it takes is a small amount of courage to try it and fairly soon you be fairly used to dragging them. Run your fingers along the bottom of my boards and you will find all kinds of unique "textures" Would like to strongly suggest that you find a empty parking lot and run the Vision thru some tight turns and lean angles so you can get familiar with the dragging and lean limits. A lot of safer that discovering on the streets with traffic.

I've dragged floorboards on the Vision a number of times.
I thought I scraped a tipover once in an off-camber turn.
You ain't ridin' a Vision hard enough if your floorboards ain't scratched at least a little on the underside. |

Yeah man, TN & NC are the world capital of floorboard-dragging roads and the Cherohala is among the very best. |

Prairie City, IA United States | I haven't drug a floorboard yet. Now I did regularly on the Goldwing. In slow speed maneuvers I should be able to drag one. If I do it at speed in a curve then my riding skills need to be polished up because I am obviously riding the top side of the bike. |

Iowa isn't what you think it is. There are some really nice twisty roads.
I am not sure what your body position is that you are dragging a board all the time. If you are tucked in and forward, then you shouldn't be dragging a board and still be running through the curves at goo d speed.
I have an advanced rider course coming up in May at a road race track so I will see how well the bike does then. 17 curves on a 1.2 mile track. |

I'm not dragging a knee either. LOL
I would guess that a Vision can be leaned over more than a Cross Bike.
Lay a Vision down on it's tip-over protection and that's basically what you have to work with before really bad things happen.
Spiderman has a really cool picture of himself pushing his Vision to the limits on the Dragon.

| I'm pretty sure almost every tme I dragged a floorboard it was 2-up with a full load of luggage. And I ain't hanging off the side of the Vision either. lol |

flagstaff, AZ | I may be wrong ( happens a lot ), but they both have the same frame, wheel base, tires and similar floorboards. I would think the only thing changing lean angle is how air you put in the suspension. I'm sure the cross bikes feel lighter in the twisties. |

| The frames are at least somewhat different.
The Vision's fuel tank it integrated into the frame while the CC has a separate fuel tank.
The Victory web site is showing Vision ground clearance at 4.8 inches and the CC at 5.8. Is that correct????? |

New Bohemia, VA | ...so no one knows. I hate to freak out the dealer but I'm going to see the next time I visit if we can do a lean angle comparison. And by the way, ground clearance has nothing to do with lean angle, per se. |

I've had the tipovers meet the road on one occasion in an off-camber 160 degree turn....and I'll tell you right now that it will wake you up damn fast. It was like hitting a bump stop in a race car! The bike just bounced back up.
As for the original question, the tipovers are the ONLY lean angle limits of the Vision, and the angle it takes to hit them is much greater than that of a Cross Country. Now, a Cross Roads? I am not sure, but guessing it is a little better than the Cross Country.
