Just a up date if you are going to put the fossgate amp in put some 180 watt speakers in so you dont blow your stock speakers up. First set of after market speakers I put in were 35 watts each and blow them up. I went to some 5 and a quarter 180 watt each speakers rebuilt the front speaker housings and now rock on.

Which speakers did you go with and where did you mount your amp?

The amp I mounted in the small compartment at the bottom of the trunk.

Pioneer TSD-1320C was the model number on the speakers. I had to cut out the speaker boxes in the front to make them work. I cut the boxes out and then rebuilt them so that they are water proof.

Those aren't marine grade or rated for weather exposed conditions, neither are the Infinity that I have read many have/are using, has anyone had any issues with rain/hose pipe water/dew/ humidity causing any issues with these speakers?

Its not about how loud. Its how clear the sound is.
