The reflectors have been off the forks of mine since they were chromed. They look a lot better w/o the reflectors. I don't believe that reflectors make any difference in safety at all. I believe that you could ride with a strobe light flashing on top of your helmet and the same fool would run you down that would hit you because you took the relector off. Just my opinion........
