I got an aftermarket CB I want to use with my Ness Vision and was wondering if I could plug the accessory speaker output on the CB into the AUX port on the Vision? The CB states that the accessory speaker output puts out 4watts. Can the Vision AUX port handle that?

I think that's too high. You could try it, but make sure that the volume is all the way down. Slowly start to increase the volume. You will start to hear distortion as soon as your input becomes too high. I probably would not do it. Even if you can run your CB volume up to say, 25% or 50% without distortion and you figure you'll just leave the volume there and not touch it again. Inevitably, there will come a time when somehow, the CB volume got cranked, you turn it on, and poof, you've just let the smoke out of the stereo.

Probably your best bet would be to get a line level converter (under $10.00) and run your signal through that into the AUX plug. Keep in mind though that you're only going to get sound from the left speakers and you won't be able to listen to the stereo while monitoring the CB.

The CB I bought is the ' Cobra C75-WXST '. ($85)
Almost all the electronics is in the handset peice itself and only a small box for connecting power, antenna and aux speaker is used enabling placement pretty much anywhere. I have it mounted under the center dash up by the keylock (see pic). What's nice is that the handpiece and cord unscrews from the bike and leaves nothing visible when it is off (I use velcro ties to attach it to the handlebar).
I am using the J&M hidden antenna ($80) which I ran under the panel under the windshield. I have not really gotten a chance to test it out yet, I have not been able to ride with any of my friends that have CB's but I have picked up some distant trucker traffic. No idea how far away it was.
I am going to try and wire it into the GPS AUX of the radio since it is a mono channel and should allow me to listen to the radio when it is not receiving. My GPS is currently routed thru the regular AUX since it is stereo and my GPS is also my XM and MP3 player.
I like the idea of using an independant volume control box to reduce the wattage.

I'd be very interested in hearing how it turns out. I don't know how the stereo is programed or configured to switch to and from the GPS audio

You will certainly need to install a line level converter to do this.

It's a shame that Victory hasn't enabled a stereo capability for the GPS.
