Git 'er dun yet? If so, let's see some pics!!!

?

Yep. Yep. Yep. Got it done, but I ain't puttin' up no pics, 'cause I don't want anybody else being as cool as me, considering I got all that new bling. Girls are goin' crazy, dude; people are pilin' up on the White House lawn, wavin' flags, all kinda crazy stuff.

OK, more to the truth-I've never posted pics here, so now I've gotta figure out how. I think I can, I think I can....

Well, when you manage to pry the babes off, see if you can get them to pose for some pics with your bike so we can all enjoy the added eye candy!
And if you need help with the pics, just e-mail 'em to me at CycleOpsUSA@gmail.com and I'll help you out and toss 'em up.

Am I incorrect in understanding the $500 chrome truck rack doesn't come with mounting hardware? If I am not incorrect, how much more $$$ is the hardware to install the rack?

Chris, when I was first approached to make the trunk racks they were simply supposed to be replacements for owners dissatisfied with their EM racks, so no kit was necessary. Once a few hit the street that all changed with everyone wanting them and we then added the kits with the CNCd base feet water sealing washers, all necesary SS hardware, and of course detailed install instructions. Black kits are $27 to members and chrome kits are $35. Your cost in the rack itself after discount is $450, so total is $485 instead of the $539 regular price.

Or $585.00 if your crazy enuf to order it from your dealer(who would do that?!). Beautiful rack, top quality; the Vic rack at my dealer doesn't compare, at any price.

does anyone had the Black Racks, either paint or other wise. i was wondering how they hold up to normal useage. my Newer vision is red and black and i thought that a black rack would be not only cheaper, but would blend more than a bright shiney rack on the top of my trunk

Black paint will never hold up, it's got to be powder coat for durability.

I have the same 2011 crimson and black VV. I put Will's black V Wing rack on. It is powder coated and is holding up great. My only complaint and its minor is the paint job is a little off, some over lap etc. Otherwise I am very pleased with it.

You guys need to realize paint and powder will never look identical, even if both black. The different properties of each cause this. Meaning paint is in multiple layers and clear coated several coats to add depth, not to mention it is glass like whereas gloss black powder coating is a one step process and does not get cleared, plus it's not as glass smooth as paint.

It is not as smooth as paint....but it is a whole lot tougher and withstand some abuse.
